Description
Informed by the results of a baseline study and community recommendations, IOM X launched the IOM X Cotabato Roadshow, with the objective of encouraging young aspirant female migrants to verify the legitimacy of their recruiter's licence with the Philippines Overseas Employment Administration (POEA) before migrating overseas. After the launch of the roadshow and the flagship video content, I am Fatima, IOM X conducted a quantitative knowledge, attitude and intended practice (KAP) study with 385 women of the target audience to assess the impact of the video and surrounding campaign activities. In addition to assessing the shift in KAP, the survey also examined campaign execution and engagement. This summary report will be useful to practitioners who intend to conduct activities, particularly safe migration activities, with young female aspirant migrants in Cotabato as the results show where there are needs for additional messaging. A full report is also available.
